Berkeley Scholars to Cal
Berkeley Scholars to Cal (BSC) is a mentorship program located in the City of Berkeley, which provides academic, college, and career support to Black and Latinx students from the 6th-12th grade.
100% of BSC Scholars matriculate into 4-year colleges, such as UC Berkeley, Occidental College, Howard University, Cal Poly, and Ivy League Universities.
While in the program, each student receives 250 hours of mentorship annually. Below is more information about the program:
- Each scholar is paired with a Black or Latino University of California, Berkeley student mentor
- Scholars participate in Summer, Saturday and After-school Academies
- Scholars receive home visits and case management by a Black or Latino Cal graduate
