Experience Berkeley Program
Facing You, Facing Me
Co-sponsored by the University of California, Berkeley Ethnic Studies Department, Facing You, Facing Me brings together student leaders to address interracial conflict and understanding. In the past this has included student body presidents from Marin to San Francisco’s Hunters Point and from East L.A. to Beverly Hills.
In an experiential/student centered course, participants from extremely diverse racial and class backgrounds develop intimate bonds, as individuals, while confronting personal prejudice and institutional racism.
