UC APPLICATION & FINANCIAL AID RESOURCES
Preparing to apply for college can be very challenging. There is so much information out there and it can be very stressful trying to navigate through this information.
To help prospective students navigate through the college application and college decision-making process, Stiles Hall has created a Resource Bank with easy to follow guides and resources. To access the Resource Bank, click the button below.
Below is a description of what you will find in this resource bank:
PIQ Resources
Personal Insight Questions, or PIQs, are the short essays you’ll need to write for your UC Application. Stiles Hall has created short video tutorials for each PIQ and guide sheets on how to answer each PIQ on the UC Application.
Financial Aid Resources
In this folder you will find information about scholarships, including a scholarship organizer, and step-by-step guides on how to complete the FAFSA and CA Dream Act documents. We also included a guide sheet with definitions of common Financial Aid terms.
Additional worksheets
We’ve put together a worksheet for “How to Choose a Major”, how to fill out the “Awards/Activities” section of the UC Application, and a UC Application guide that explains each section of the UC Application.
